How to recycle with ROB

Q: How do I get involved with the scheme?

A: If you live in one of the areas currently covered by the scheme, you should have received a recycling box, a textiles bag and 3 bags for glass. These areas are Ollerton, Boughton, Perlethorpe, Walesby , Kirton, Wellow, Rufford, 60% of Edwinstowe. If you are in any of these areas and do not have a box or are short of bags, please contact us and we will drop them off to you free-of-charge.

Q: I am not in one of the areas mentioned above; will you be covering our area in future?

A: We will be expanding into the remaining 40% of Edwinstowe. At present this represents the limit of our domestic rounds

Q: What materials will you recycle for us?

A: We collect and recycle the following materials: glass, textiles, bric-a-brac and green waste .

Q: How should I put my recycling out for collection?

A: If you are a householder, please put it out at the kerbside as follows, according to the collection dates for your area:

	TEXTILES	Use textiles bag provided. After filling bag, place it in the kerbside box.
	GLASS	Use the bags for glass. Please sort the clear glass from the coloured glass. Put clear bottles and jars in the bag for clear glass. All colours can now be mixed (green, brown, blue together) and go in any of the coloured bags.
	CANS	Put cans in the silver bin .
	PAPER	Put paper, newspapers and magazines in the silver bin.
	CARDBOARD	Put cardboard and food packaging in the silver bin.
	BRIC A BRAC	Use green ex-paper recycling bags to hold household items in kerbside box. Items to be in good condition and in good working order.
	GREEN WASTE	Use green ex-paper recycling bags which are freely provided. Purchase stickers and place one sticker per bag. Collection day is Thursday, ring up before 9 am for same day collection.

Q: What if I am a business?

  A: If you are a business and are interested in recycling, please contact us to set up an agreement. The business recycling service covers a larger area than household recycling. The services available are:

• Office waste paper collection

• Cardboard collection

• Confidential paper collection and shredding
