The Shell Better Britain Campaign
has been running for over 30 years. It is now being reviewed and
it is planned that it will be relaunched in Autumn. This link
will only take you to an 'update' page with an email address to
request details until the changes have been made.
Waste Recycling Environmental Ltd
(WREN) is a non-profit making registered environmental body.
This website details the grants and assistance the organisation
can provide to community, heritage and conservation projects
under the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme.
These Awards are held every year
to recognise the 'stars of the recycling industry'. The website
details past winners, such as ROB, and how you can apply to
enter the competition.
The Royal Society for Nature
Conservation launched the Social, Economic and
Environmental Development (SEED) Programme in April 2001.
However, the scheme has now closed , but their website details
other schemes operated by the RSNC that might be of interest.
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust
is an independent grant making body registered with the Charity
Commissioners that is dedicated to the regeneration of coalfield
communities, such as Ollerton and Boughton.
This site provides the latest
news from Nottinghamshire County Council.
This Regional Development Agency
was established in 1999 to transform the East Midlands through
sustainable economic development. Their site details how
the Agency can assist with regeneration of communities amongst
other things.
